Hi. We are ripping up the carpet right now (White - Why?? it's so gross) and it's totally glued! 
We were going to do some bamboo but after reading posts I don't want a cold floor that I spend money on and then have to spend more money to cover it up with a custom rug! Do floors have R ratings or insulation value? What about the cork? Can I have my floor and be warm too?? TIA
