'97, '98, '99 Original Couch In Action

I recently purchased a 1999 that had a disassembled backrest/swing out bed extension. I do have the frame brackets and I am interested in putting it back together but would like to see how it is supposed to work.

Can anyone with a '97, '98, or '99 that has the original couch/bed in place, please post a short video of the couch/bed transformation in action. I'd really like to see a wide shot of it in action and a closer look at how the frame brackets deploy during the transformation from a couch to a bed, and back again.

If you can't post the video to this site, perhaps post it to YouTube and leave the link below.

Thanks!!

We took the fame out and installed a gaucho bed. It was more practical for our situation.

Turned out we saved a bit on weight since there was so much metal in the original frame, and seat springs.

Any chance either of you have the brackets? My dad did the same thing in removing his upper and we wanted to restore it.

We would alternatively be interested in knowing what couch model you replaced the original one with and how you mounted it.

Thanks in advance.

I really like your gaucho conversion. Do you have more pictures of the process and details of the installation so I can replicate them? One big goal is to have a seat cushion that is not so thick to make the couch a little closer to the ground for folks with short legs like my wife.
