‘99 Rollover Sofa Hardware — Free to good home.
You just pay shipping or pick it up!
We modified the rollover sleeper sofa into a slide out gaucho, so we have the original hardware if anyone wants it, just let me know.

Rollover? Is that like a jackknife?
Pictures please.

No. Not like a jackknife. Sorry no pics but imagine two metal brackets, one attached to each end of a long, one piece, backrest cushion.
The metal brackets allowed the user to pull the backrest up and pivot over the bottom cushion. The back cushion would then rest over the isle in front of the countertop and sink, creating a full bed.
I believe this was used in ‘98, and ‘99 years that did not have a center pull down arm rest.
*edit. Just found this pic online. The last one is from Alaskan.

Sounds like an improvement over a jacknife. That center armrest is the worst idea ever for a bed conversion I put a six inch pad on it and still I feel that armrest. I've been looking for something to replace it with. This may work.

Chris,
Thanks for sharing your sofa/bed project. Let me make sure that I understand... The pictures are of the original rollover bed? What is the gaucho style bed like?

The photos above show the couch as it originally looked, although those pics were not of my b190. I just posted them for reference.
The photos below are from my rig. For the gaucho, we built a large, pullout tray that slides out from under the sofa. It is also hinged so it can be lifted up to access the expanded battery bank.
You can see a peek of the new compressor refrigerator we installed in the bottom left corner of the first photo.
This was the tip of the iceberg of our remodel. I’ll post a full album in the coming weeks.

Nice Chris good job and thanks for sharing your idea. Im definitely doing something similar sleeping on the snack tray isn't much fun.

Thanks! The best thing about it is there is no metal, no bars in the cushion. Just nice, thick multilayer foam. Perfect for sitting or sleeping

Lol perfect the jacknife flat you get a box in the back or a bar across the back of your legs sitting. And thats my biggest complaint is the bed my wife sleeps up top and loves it. But 6'3 and 310 trying to get comfortable is not easy.
That turned out well Chris my wife saw the pictures and really liked it.

Do you still have the roll over sofa? I'm missing the hardware and the back for my own '98 b190.
Thanks.
Thanks.
