Interior pics of total remodel

Post by Jersey747 »

Some long awaited pictures!!!! 2 years ....approx 150 hrs of my time....so many mechanical parts and newly designed interior...re insulated ,fabricated ceiling and wall panels ,new floor.Removed black and grey tanks ....will be installing under floor pull out storage drawers..went for a cassette type toilet ., undercounter Gerry cans for sink waste......very easy to winterize now 😀.Outdoor shower at back door! Exterior Pull out drawer in position of old water heater.Manufactured all the cabinetry by hand!! Some of the original oak facing and doors were reused ,but most had rotted from moisture damage..went for a propane radiant heater ...Was hoping to blast off for a fall trip to Nova Scotia but the borders are still closed .....will be doing some shorter camping trips in New Hampshire ...Thanks to all who responded to any of my technical questions
Regards
One Happy Camper!!!!!

Thanks so much...there were certainly days during the project when I’d walk out to the barn and say....what the heck did I start this for!!! But since the whole pandemic started and I was furloughed ,I’ve had nothing but time..
The only thing left is for me to pull off propane tank and replace it with new one...replace the lines also, as it’s a 94
Happy Trails

Amazing! What an ambitious reno. It’s incredible how well the van holds up to various aesthetic choices. I’ve seen people do high end countertops and trendy fixtures like a home reno. This is very ready for off road. Mine was mostly removing propane and easy upgrades a newbie and person with limited mobility could accomplish.
