Replacement for Cabinet hinges

Post by jafarTheVan »

I have several broken cabinet hinges in my 1990 B190. I ordered these hinges from Amazon, but it turns out they wouldn't fit and these hinges sizes have changed over the years. As shown in the photos below, instead of 1 7/32", the width should be 1 11/32 ".

After extensive research and not finding the proper hinge in Home Depot, I found www.cabinetparts.com haves these hinges. There are several options and I am not sure which one to order.

Option 1: Variable Overlay Hinge Pair Antique Brass

Option 2: Variable Overlay Hinge-Polished Brass

Option 3: Variable Overlay Hinge 2-1/16 Inch Width

Their customer service suggests all of these will fit. However, I am wondering either option 3 or 1/2 would work. Does anyone have experience replacing their cabinet hinges? Thanks in advance.

I don't know the answer, but I'm interested, too - we had a similar issue with hinges in our trailer.

I got the parts I had ordered from www.cabinetparts.com and they work perfectly.

I ordered Variable Overlay Hinge 2-1/16 Inch Width - Satin Nickel - Pair with part number AMBPR7629G10 from the website and it is the exact match.
