Cargo Carrier

Post by fredging »

I have a 1993 B190. I am thinking of getting a cargo carrier like the stowaway2 max swing or something along those lines. Does anyone have a recommendation or any problems with these as the 1993 has the spare tire also on the back door.

rear platforms

Post by Roadhog »

The regular or standard platform that fits into the rear 2" trailer hitch receiver works very well but does require a modification known as a "Z" bar to raise it up a few inches or it may drag on certain occasions. I think the swing away would be a great feature to allow access to the rear doors, etc. but it might have the same problem of dragging. The extended overhang is the problem. My friend did have to remove his before getting on the Alaskan ferry because you pay by the length and added considerable to the boarding fees.
