Smog issues buying out of state

Post by Denco »

Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum, I will apologize up front if this question has been addressed 100 times!! I did not find anything on a search.
I am looking at a b190 out my state of Ca. Is this a nightmare getting it registered here. It is a 1996 so it is at least somewhat modern. It is from a smog law state currently with semi annual checks like Ca.
Thank you very much and we hope to have an uneventful 1500 mile trip to buy it!! It has extremely low miles and garage kept so it should be in tip top shape..

Can't give ya an answer on that..

I'd be surprised if Ford provided the rigs to Airstream in a configuration that would not allow the finished product to be sold in every state.

Wondering if there is something in the Vin Number that relates to that..

Anyone...??

Yes Sir California is where I live. Land of Sun, Warm Lakes, High Taxes and One more Happy B190 to enjoy the long summers at the Lake:)

I tried to open a gallery and post pics for a trip report, A report with no pics is lame so I opted out on just text. But it was an awesome trip in a super nice B190!
