What does that switch do?
Re: What does that BREAKER switch do?
The breaker in the DC panel box labeled UNIVOLT has me puzzled. Does this shut down all charging power to the cabin battery (s)? I have installed a solar panel and dont want to have multiple charging sources to the AGM`s. Thank you if you can help me. Take Care--Roy

Re: What does that switch do? control panel lights?
I am confused, I thought my holding tanks were empty but when I took out the toilet I could see there was some liquid in there, well turns out there was A LOT in there, it is now empty, as is the grey water holding however the holding tank lights are showing full meaning all the way to the red, is this a malfunction, or is it a reverse function and the lights go down to the green when they need to be empty? I should mention that the fresh water tank showed empty and was and now reads full after filling it this afternoon, and the LP tank reads full and there is def lp. Any insight would be great.

Green is empty and red is full. Not sure how the holding tank sensors work. Any chance the wiring got switched when you took out the toilet?

The two holding tanks are subject to issues in any sensor system - the waste can dry in the tank and mess up the sensors. The ones in our trailer, for example, always shows the black tank as nearly full, which it never is. You can buy sensor cleaner to put in and let soak, or another trick is to dump a bunch of ice in and drive around, then let it melt and dump it.jb1rd73 wrote:I am confused, I thought my holding tanks were empty but when I took out the toilet I could see there was some liquid in there, well turns out there was A LOT in there, it is now empty, as is the grey water holding however the holding tank lights are showing full meaning all the way to the red, is this a malfunction, or is it a reverse function and the lights go down to the green when they need to be empty? Assuming your monitor is the one shown in the picture, the "F" at the top means full; if it's a bad thing (as in the case of the waste tanks) it'll be red. Water and gas are green when they're full. No trick.
Also, note it's four separate sensors, so it's possible two sensors are working fine, while the other two are gummed up.

Re: What does that switch do?
I can't figure out how to get the outside light, just left of the double doors on the side, to go on. It's gone on before and I now have a new LED "bulb" in there but I can't find a way to turn it on! There is switch on the end of the sink counter that shows "Flood" and "On" but neither setting does it. I've turned on the generator, turned on the engine, nothing.

Re: What does that switch do?
Mark, You are correct that the outside light is controlled by the switch at the end of the sink counter. The outside light is powered from the 12 volt camper battery and does not need the generator nor the vehicle to be turned on. I would check the other interior 12 volt lights such as over the sink or couch and see if they come on. If the other interior lights come on you can narrow the problem down to just the outside light circuit. Use a test meter or try taking out your LED bulb and try a regular bulb to see if the socket is getting power.

BTW, I fixed this problem, The light was loose in the socket and not making contact. I jimmied it in there somehow and it lights whenever I want now.

what does the video selector switch do? mine is a little different than the one shown in the picture. It has 3 push buttons on bottom and video selector on top???
Reason why, i'm thinking of getting an HDMI antenea and wondering if I need to have that switch in a certain position to get local channels?

Re: What does that switch do?
I have a 96 B190 and have a switch I don’t see in any of the photos—a black switch below the furnace thermostat and above the illuminated water heater switch. It squeals when I turn it on. Is it the switch to ignite the furnace? Or…?
