Well, if the International Rally is ever within a day or two's drive to attend, you should register as soon as the online registration is available and go at least once, to experience it. (The past couple years, the rallies are filling up more rapidly.) Maybe VA isn't close enough next year, but there's CO in 2020 and TN in 2021. Our International officers try to vary the locations so all the members have an opportunity to attend in their lifetimes. And, most importantly, it's not just for International, Region, or Unit officers/delegates. It is open to the whole WBCCI membership. Some members go and attend every function/tour they can squeeze in between dawn and dusk, while others sit outside all day by their RVs and fellowship with those nearby. There's a happy median to be found between those extremes. If you don't enjoy yourself at the rally, it's almost all your own fault.

There was a long gap between east coast International rallies - 2006 in Georgia, then not until 2016 in West Virginia. Glad they're coming back east now and then again.
