Choke Position

When I got my camper van, the generator wouldn't run. I found out it was because the choke was stuck open, as soon as I manually pushed the choke to the left and started it it ran fine and even under load, the A/C at max setting.

My question is now is seems like the choke is always in the same position. Is the choke supposed to be touching the throttle metal circle or on it's own? When I look at it, it looks like if it was touching the throttle metal circle, when the throttle changed it would push on the choke arm.

Hi Mike,
I just bought a B190 and can't get the generator to start. It started and ran, but with an initial backfire, when I checked it out in South lake Tahoe. I restarted it up there and ran it with AC on as well. It sputtered a bit periodically with AC on though. Now I've driven it down to sea level where I live and can't get it to start.
Did you ever figure out what was going on with yours? The choke issue, etc?
