Snow Canyon State Park- Ivins Utah

Post by RobertL »

Nice little park just outside St. George.
Has a lot of interesting geological features such as lava caves, sandstone cliffs of varying red hues, and some petroglyphs. It also has a great bike trail(paved) and is part of a the larger Red Cliffs preserve which was set up to preserve the beauty of the area for people and for the endangered desert tortoise.

Had a little kit fox visit us at dinner.

Campground has both full hookup RV sites(pack them in a wee to snug for us) or some nice dry sites with back in parking for folks like us who like our peace and quiet.

Diane has pictures and will load them soon to our Oblivion album.
