I’ll make a post later but I just got my 1998 back home. I was reading the manual and it looks like the coach battery and house battery are in parallel? So you could potentially drain your coach battery if you had the interior lights on.

Which tires did you get?

The system uses both batteries when the engine is running so it charges both. When you shut the ignition off it isolates the house battery from the starting battery. In theory you can run the house battery dead and still start the engine.

That’s good to know, I’ll look at the drawings again tomorrow.

The relay is behind the driver side headlight on the older one's. I just deleted the original house battery all together. 2 group 31 agm 110ah under the couch.

Did you have to remove the sofa to do the electrical work?

Yes I've removed the jacknife sofa for now closed in the box the it was mounted to with 3/4 hard wood ply and a paino hinge in the back and using a futon tipe temporally. Im looking for a solution for the most uncomfortable bed I've ever tryed to sleep on the jacknife! Lol.

Well these things are so old I can feel the springs when I sleep but I actually didn't think it was that bad. You could always add a twin foam topper which is what I'm considering or just replace the cushions and keep the fabric.

My coach battery won't hold a charge and I want to replace it but I think I should change the converter first or else it'll destroy the new battery if I'm not mistaken.

Tryed that its that snack tray that hits my hips no matter how I lay. I may use the frame and cut the back center out and weld it up to box in the back like the bottom. Ether was new foam is a must.

Its a good idea when i changed mine the cooling fan was seized up so it was a possible fire hazard I did before the new batteries.
