DC problems

Post by Abie Sea »

I recently replaced my converter with the PD 9260c and it seems to be working. However the DC power to the house is not working. AC working well and DC at the board terminals is 12.58 v as is the battery when the converter is off and 13.6 at both locations when the converter is on. I get no lights, monitor or other DC in whether the converter is on or off. It must have something that I did with the install, but I can not think what it might have been. I have been trying to test the Norcold 3 way fridge on propane and was wondering whether the lighting spark was dc powered as I can not get the fridge to light.

Skater solved the problem by noting that because his replacement board in the original string did not require the blue wire from the original converter to be attached, my old board required that the positive terminal be attached to the grommit where the blue wire was originally attached and that solved the problem. Now on to my problem with the propane works on the fridge
