Does anyone have a picture of the 12vdc input to the dometic refer? Mine came disconnected and I need to hook up. Thanks

I was just looking at the fridge today, because I’m planning my approach for removing it. I’ll try to remember to grab a picture tomorrow.skidrow wrote:Does anyone have a picture of the 12vdv input to the dometic refer? Mine came disconnected and I need to book up. Thanks

I almost forgot to take these, then I forgot to post them!
Is there something specific you need?

Hi skater, thanks for the pics. From what I see the positive is in the back and the ground is in front. Just what I need to connect mine back up. Thanks i appreciate it.

Be warned, the 12 volt mode isn't really anything to get excited about. I'm not sure how you'll know it's even working!

I see what you mean. The element for the 12v circuit must be under powered to save the energy but just really wastes it.

Re: Rm2310 wiring pics
If the 120 volt circuit draws 3 amps, that's 360 watts, which would be 30 amps in 12 volts for equivalent heating power. That's quite a bit of current and would require some pretty heavy gauge wiring from the alt to the fridge, then within the fridge. It may also require an upgraded alternator.skidrow wrote:I see what you mean. The element for the 12v circuit must be under powered to save the energy but just really wastes it.
Better to just run propane, or if you already have the generator going for the rooftop A/C, just run the 120 volt mode of the fridge, too.
