Refrigerator lighting up but not cooling

I've been troubleshooting my fridge and cannot figure out what's going on. I cleaned out the burner and pipe as good as i could and got it to light. It sounds like it's working, the flame looks good, i can hear the liquid moving, the pipes on the back are hot, but even after 8 hours the fridge is not cooling at all. Any ideas?

Is the freezer cooling?

It's possible the fluid has leaked out of the coils, which basically means the fridge is dead. :(

Dang, that's what i was afraid of. Nothing is getting cold. it sounds like the fluid is moving around in there so i got my hopes up that it was going to work.

Check the dimensions, but I don't see any reason it won't work.

This fridge does look promising. I think I found it on the Dometic site here https://www.dometic.com/en-us/us/produc ... s-_-136457 and it comes in both left and right hand doors. The dimensions and manuals are there, too. Good luck, and let us know if it works for you.

On the fridges if your fridge is on the right and the front of the B is over 20*+ tilt, the fridge will not work correctly. Same with it on the left but it would be the rear down. You need to get the vehicle level and let the fridge sit off for 8 hours to allow the liquid to settle back where it belongs.

This might explain why I can't get my fridge to cool or start at all. Do you mean a 20 degree tilt? That is a LOT of tilt! 8O
I brought home my van from the S. Lake Tahoe where I purchased it, and I can't get it to cool on 12V, 110V or propane. Does the van need to sit perfectly level for 8 hrs. before it will work? How "level" is level?

20 degree tilt is way too much - I think he might have meant 2 degrees.

The rule of thumb is that if it's comfortable for you inside, then it's okay for the fridge. But they do take a long time to cool down; give it at least 8 hours. It's also possible there's an issue with your fridge!
