Jack and Lug Wrench

Post by Julief8 »

Just bought my 1996/97 B190 and there is no jack and lug wrench. My B190 is a late model so the Ford is a 96 but the Airstream Coach is a 97. The spare tire is inside the back left door and attached to the back of the bathroom. Any suggestion on what kind to buy and where to store it? Thanks...

I bought a bottle jack from an auto parts store. It has been a while, but it wasn’t that expensive either. For the lug wrench I bought the correct 1/2” drive deep well socket (1.25” on mine, I think, but yours could be different) and breaker bar. Or again an auto parts store should have or can get a lug wrench for that size.

Get a big (long) wrench or breaker bar. The lug nuts have a lot of torque on them.
