additional parts for sway bar installation?

Post by BiancaF »

Hi! i just ordered a hellwig rear sway bar for my 1991, (per everyone's enthusiastic recommendations, along with billstein shocks and a monroe steering stabilizer), and my mechanic is saying it didnt some with the right size bushings to install?

im a bit confused as to exactly what he needs, has anyone had experience with this?

this is what i ordered:

You may have solved this already but it looks like they sent you a wrong bushing because they both should be the same size, the hole being the size of the bar. The company should send a replacement with a call. I have a 91 and did what you are doing and it does make a big difference. The mechanic might have to loosen and move a brake line but it is no big deal.
