I recently mailed a spacer kit down to Jeff in California...

At the time he installed the spacer kit he also replaced his front springs with new Ford springs for a E350/F350 diesel

He tells me it raised the front of his rig about 3 inches...

Hi all!

I too had some problems with my rear springs sagging and a scraping of the braces on the back added by the previous owner. I took the unit (with about 95,000 miles) to a prominent spring shop in the area thinking they were going to clean me out to replace them. I was very happy with them recurving the old leafs and adding another to add support. They are now basically E-450 springs and add a lot of rigidity to the coach for going around corners or even just going down the road. It seems as though crosswinds are not nearly as noticeable as before, and I forget that I am pulling when I have a trailer in tow. I can't comment on the validity of other fixes mentioned here, but I can say that I could not be more pleased with the solution I have found.

A problem with re-arching the springs and adding a leaf is it significantly affects the spring rate and therefore makes the ride more rough than it was originally.

With 2-inch riser blocks there is no affect to the spring rate.....

We've had a number of members add an aftermarket rear sway bar to address the other issue you mentioned.

Agreed. The spring rate is much stiffer and Many members may not appreciate it being closer to a performance machine than a recreational vehicle. However, if you plan on doing a lot of pulling, I think it is a very viable option.

Dave are the Hellwig anti sway bars compatible with your lift blocks? I'm thinking I'll install everything at the same time. Let me know when you're home from your Spring break adventure.
