Has anyone else been following the story with the FEMA trailers? Apparently they've now found elevated levels of formaldehyde in them. Here's my concern: those trailers are made by the same companies that make "name-brand" trailers, off the same production lines (not Airstream, but still) - so do all RVs have elevated levels of formaldehyde in them?
I'm not really worried about it, especially since I don't stay in mine long-term. But I am curious about it. I wonder if we'll be seeing more about this in upcoming months from the RV manufacturers.

Quick update on this:
It seems like the problem is the formaldehyde used in cheap particleboard and plywood is mostly to blame.
We have oak cabinets.
There is some particleboard in our campers - in mine, the bunk of the bed is particleboard, for example. The walls appear to be plywood.
As I suspected, this issue probably doesn't affect our B-vans at all. Yet another reason to buy Airstream!
