You may have my data already but if not:
Located in Dana Point, CA

Ford Vin: 1FDSS34S1WHA00160
Airstream Vin: 1B9KGVA29WJ301295

1998 Version
Bought used March 9, 2001 with 44200 miles.
I think on previous owner.
Now has 152212 miles. Just finished a 7,850 mile trip from Dana Point to Quebec City, NYC, Washington DC, Great Smoky Mountains, Kansas City, Sedona and home. Great fall colors and smooth trip except for a water leak over the passenger visor. Body rusted through just above windshield molding. Also clearcoat is coming off the engine hood.

I didn't! Got it now, though!

Thanks! Funny enough, that's the gallery we saw even before the van was posted. The owner was very good to work with, and the van was in great mechanical condition, just not the RV side of things. He didn't use the water system much, nor the toilet, generator, heater, or electrical system as he mostly took it to the racetrack and camped with power and bathrooms and such. So we found out about the fixes along the way.

I was going through my dad's old documents and found that he kept every bit of documentation for his B190. I can now add my information to the database.

Airstream model number: 1B9KGVA29XJ301346
Model 1999 Motorhome 190
Chassis: 1FDS53456WHC02931
Model 1998 Ford Hi-Top Chassis

He took possession of it on 7/9/99.

The document I have shows all the model numbers and manufactures for the major components.

I thought this was a cool find tonight.

Cheers,
Bryan

Thanks - I believe the Ford VIN should be (corrections underlined): 1FDSS34S6WHC02931 - Can you confirm?

This makes 192 VINs in the database!

For the 1994: I think the Airstream VIN is 1B9KGVA24RJ300849. Can you confirm?

I didn't have either of them in the database before.

We have a new low score! Last Chance, a new member, just picked up a 1989 with the sequence number 300008!

This makes me wonder - Jennifer's 1989 has no Airstream number on it; it may have been made at the Okanagan factory with Airstream logos (there's some things like better plumbing fittings that I haven't seen on Airstream-built ones). I wonder if ones like hers are counted in the Airstream VIN counts? Or, maybe only a tiny number were made there. Hmmm!

Mine would also be one of the 'tiny number without an Airstream number.' Mine WAS built at Okanagan. As I understand, all the B-190s in 1989 were built at Okanagan. I had a discussion with an Airstream dealer, I race with, and he believes mine was one of the prototypes as it has some features which did not appear to carry over (ie embossed 'Airstream' logo).

Interesting. As usual I'm wondering if yours and Jennifer's are included in the official 1,393 or not.

The most likely explanation for this is that this wasn't as smooth as a transition as we'd hope. More likely a few were built then someone said, "Hey, wait, are we tracking these?!"

I'd be interested in comparing her numbers from the Okanagan build sheet hanging in the closet, with mine. Maybe there is something to be learned. In 1989, the B190s were built at the "Okanagan factory".

Prompted by a question sent in private, I wrote a script today that gives recent asking prices for a given year or range of years.

For example, I can now tell you that I've spotted five 1991 B190s for sale in the last 3 years, ranging from $4,500 to $9,500, with an average of $7,500. Two of those had the 351 instead of the 460, and they were also both the highest priced - $9,500 each.
