Added! It's not online yet - it's the goal, but I haven't made it there yet. Too many projects! If you're wondering, though, this is the first I've seen yours - I don't have any prior records on it. Yours makes 205 in the database of the 1,393 we think were made (just under 15%).

Hello! I have a beta version of the VIN lookup now available (see the navbar above, or click here). The map is not yet working, so right now it's just the table of results. The map is next, though.

You need to be logged in to use it, and you have to enter the Ford VIN, since we don't always have Airstream VINs.

Edit: Here's mine to get you started.

I don't know how I missed this, but here is the data:

1994 B190 Airstream RV
Ford VIN 1FDJS3469RHA87690
Airstream Ser. No. 300791
161,000 Miles
Purchased at RV World in Nakomis, Florida on 6 January 1995

I am planning on putting this B190 on the market on 1 October. It is a one owner, garage kept, 190 in really good condition. I'm not sure how much to ask for it, but I believe that it is in much better condition than the 1995 that sold in April for $11,500.00.

Thanks. Looks like a beauty. I calculated the Airstream VIN as 1B9KGVA2XRJ300791; can you please double check that (under the hood)?

That looks like the correct number. Two of the letters are not clearly stamped.

Thanks. I'm getting 1B9KGVA22WJ301297 for your B190 VIN. Is that correct? (When I get only the sequence number, I have to calculate the Airstream VIN manually and can only do it by guessing the year of the B190 - well, in your case, it's in your profile.)

Also, where you are you located?

I've been staying out of the heat and working on the database, mostly on backend things that only I'll ever see. For example, I can now correct data without going into the database directly! I did update the output somewhat as well. I know it doesn't look much different, but it uses a better map setup, and as you can see, I have the popups finally working... well, they work on my local copy. These are just screen shots and won't work.

Next steps - switch to using the online database as the primary (as it stands now, I keep my local database current and just update the online one every now and then). Then I need to figure out if I want to go to the trouble of integrating it with the site, or if want to keep it essentially separate. Integrating it into the site likely means it'll have to be updated every time I update the site. Maybe I can fake it to LOOK like it's on the site but isn't actually integrated with the forum software. I've also amassed a pretty decent photo library of the B190s I've seen with VINs, so it'd be nice to somehow link those, but I haven't decided how I want to do that, yet.
