Odessey Industries B-van conversion...

Post by Alaskan »

Came upon this rig on Sunday. The fellow that owns it had been a Ford Dealer in western Washington and had also been a distributor for this conversion van that had been made in Canada just across the border from Washington.

This rig is a 1987 that looks like new. He told me he keeps it inside and that it has 155,000 miles on it and he's not done any major work to it....does have the 460 but this particular year is prior to fuel injection.

Odessey Industries would have been just a short distance from Okanagan which is the company that Airstream bought out in about 1989 to begin the camper vans we now know as the B190's...

Maybe this Odessey is the rig that led to our Airstream B190's...

E350 chassis, no generator, the sides are wider, has a dinette (booth type) seating that makes into a bed...

Very nice well kept camper van...

That thing is in great shape.

And people wonder why I'm so religious about garaging my cars!
