Anyone Looking For Parts? 1993

Post by goinmobile »

I had made it to florida when a health issue came up. I drove all the way back only to have some guy pull out in front of me and I hit him at 50MPH. Totaled the airstream but the parts may still be good such as engine, tranny, interior etc. The insurance company still has it as they offered me a rediculous price.
If anyone's interested let me know and I'll try to find out where they will sell it.
I also have manuals for the 93 inclusing appliances and solar panel.

Sorry but glad you are OK. From the posted pictures the B van looks repairable. But if the frame is bent that may be a different story. Buy it back from the insurance company CHEEP!!! they really dont want it or have to peddle it, so my experience with them is you should be able to buy it Cheep. It would be nice to know what it would cost to fix it before buying it back. Take your pictures to a body shop and see if they can give you a rough estimate to repair it. If the motor and tranny are OK you should be able to find the required sheet metal to fix it. These popular vans are everywhere and junk yards should have the parts. Good luck on what ever you decide, but I am sure there are some AS B 190 owners that would like some parts off your van.

I am pretty sure the frame is bent. Hit him pretty hard. I am having trouble with insurance up here in Canada. The appraisal company can't find one in canada to compare prices so they used a 1991 Pleasureway instead. No comparison as the 190b has a 1 ton chassis and the pleasureway a 3/4 ton. Quality isn't nearly as good either. I paid 14 grand for it 5 months ago and they offered me 8500. Guy I hit.

Ok I see your situation. $8500 will buy you a replacement here in the USA. Maybe take the money and shop the US market. That would at least put you back to square one. Good luck what ever you decide. Howard

Hi. I just bought a 1993 B190. I need a replacement for the driver's side mirror. Actually I only need the glass with the attachment on the back, but will buy the whole thing if it's easier. So sorry to hear about your accident.

Hi. I'll ask and see where the kept it. It's too far for me to go. The whole RV would be great for parts on your 93. It rn great---I had just gotten back from florida--a 2500km trip.

I would be interested in good conition driver door interior panel and other small parts. Are seats in good condition? What brand are seats? I have a bad passenger left arm rest. What is name of the wrecking yard and where is it located?
