Hi Everyone,
New to the forum. I have a 1995 B190. It has a DSS antenna mounted on the roof, with controls inside. Have no idea what this is, and wether it takes a subscription, or if it is even useable. Anyone have one like it.
thanks
Dave

The DSS antennas do require a tuner I think. You can probably get them from Direct TV or Dish, but I think Camping World also has them (probably along with other places), and you'd just get a card that plugs into the tuner from Direct TV/Dish.

Tuner (receiver) & subscription required.
Note the model number of the antenna and see if the unit says either Direct TV or Dish Network on it...thats important
That would determine which service you would need to subscribe to and type receiver you would need to complete the system...
You can easily purchase a receiver independently or from eBay to avoid a "contract" from either Dish or Direct TV, with which you would be supplied a free receiver.
