Just read they are going to E85 across the board, thinking that's not going to do well with our rigs. Has anyone taken the time to replace the fuel lines in their rig and could pass along information like degree of difficulty and cost?
Thanks in advance
Ethanol in Gas and the Effect On Our Rigs
Re: Ethanol in Gas and the Effect On Our Rigs
Thought I'd round out this thread.
The EFI rigs don't have to worry about Ethanol in the gas (10%). Best to stay at that ratio.
Earlier carbureted models need to be retrofit in order to run ethanol because of the differences in fuel lines and gaskets.
As an aside, we're switching our membership from BJ's to Costco because Costco has the second best Tier 1 gas in the US. Tier 1 provides better engine performance and engine cleaning than other tiers.
