Fantastic fan problem

Fantastic fan problem
Can anyone help with an issus I have with my fantastic fan? Cannot press the inlet/outlet button down when fan cover is open, fan doesn't work in the outlet position which its in when I open the cover on auto. Thanks.

I don't have any good advice, other than to say that Fantastic Vent is one of those companies that likes to talk to their customers and are very helpful. Here is a link to their website if no one has any good suggestions.
I can tell you that my Fantastic Fan isn't that nice of a model - it's exhaust only and not power open/close. I know what you're talking about, though, because my parents' trailer has one similar to what you are describing.
