What is this?

Switch to the left of steering column, under fuel gauge. Mine is broke. Can't tell if it is switch or just a light.

By the way, love the forum!

I have a 91 and also have a switch located in about the same position. Mine is a rocker type switch with a red light and when switched on the light goes on and the transmission shifts out of overdrive and into the lower gear. I don't use it often except for long climbs etc. Don't know if yours is the same or not.

Makes sense. I thought the tranny had OD but I was looking for a button on the gearshifter.

Thanks

Got a new one from the local Ford house, $38.00. Works like a charm.

Next is new fuel pumps, both tanks.
