Looks great! I should do that to mine, which isn't nearly as bad as yours was.

Nicely done! This is on my 'list', but still a ways down. I'll be back to this thread when ready. Thank you

Very nice!

A bit anal repainting a tank no one will see because of a few scratches, though, no?

Who did you have do the work? I've got a similar problem with a leaking shut-off valve, and LP places say they won't work on the chassis-mounted tank, and RV places say they don't do LP, or it's too old (1996) for their shop.

I'm now just thinking about doing the work myself--looks fairly easy since the tank is empty. Problem is, I don't know what valve to use. I suppose I cold just remove it then see if I can match it...

Thanks for any tips!

Branden - sorry for the very late reply, but I only just saw your question. It's probably a moot point by now, but the work was done at Allied Propane in Richmond, CA.

What is the name and size of the fitting to the right of the fill valve in the bottom picture ? I just found out that fitting must be stuck open as I have a small leak even when tank not over filled. I suspect the last person who filled it didn’t know how and he overfilled it. I need to replace it but don’t know exact name and model of the part. Any help greatly appreciated????

Does anybody’s know if this will fit my original propane tank on my 1998 B 190?

Emerson Fisher 3/4 in. MNPT External Relief Valves for ASME Containers - 250 PSIG

I’d so I can get it in time for my trip. If not sadly won’t be able to use refrig or stove.

Thank you

LOVES filler nozzle does not fit my original filler on my propane tank (1995 B190) Is there an adaptor sold to fit?

That's very strange, it's the standard motorhome tank, and they should have the adapter. Could it be a situation where the attendant has only filled bottles before and wasn't aware of the adapter?
