Hi there,

Anyone have any experience with the AIR emission pump on a 1993 460 or similar? I think mine may have died (it was noisy for months, now that noise is gone). I think the death of the pump may be causing the "check engine" light to come on.

Can I drive it without replacing it right away?

It's probably the thermactor(er) pump. Mine screamed like a banshee! I think I paid about $140.00 for a new one.

The AIR pump checked out okay, so I think you are right.
