Here's a silly question out of pure curiosity. what did these units cost when new? Anyone have a price sheet that lists unit cost as well as option costs? Anyone have the original paperwork for their unit?

I have the original invoice for a 1991 that I own. It was purchased in Ohio for the base price of $38,678. I would think that all the basics were included in any van purchased with a few of the standard accessories being among the many, 30 amp converter with 12 volt charger, 6 gal water heater, 22.4 gal fresh water, 16 gal grey and 16 gal black water, 35 lb lpg, 12,000 btu furnace, just to name a few.
Optional upgrades included were 2 bkw onan generator, t.v. booster with cable, 460 cu engine, towing package, driver power seat, 4 burner stove with oven, trailer towing mirror pkg, 11,000 btu air with optional heater, and flexsteel seat package which brought the option upgrade to $5,099.00. destination charges were $600.00 which made the total cost for the motorhome $44,377.00.
I was quite suprised at the cost and wonder what it would be in todays time. I think I got quite a deal for $6900 plus about a another $1000 or so for a new couch, toilet and tires.
Hope this helps.

Very good info, Craigmar! This is a great breakdown on the option package pricing. Hopefully someone will provide similar for the late production units too. This is good information to add to the B190 FAQ as well as the interior dimensions......Skater.......

We already know - have you priced one of the new B-vans? I believe they start at like $80,000. Granted the chassis on those is somewhat more expensive (probably), but obviously the chassis is only one part.
When I looked at one a year or so ago, the salesman was like, "I bet you get 8 MPG with yours! This will get 22 MPG! Think of all the money you'll save!" Hahaha... I'd have to drive it enough to save $80,000 in gas (price on that one was $90,000, and I was figuring $10,000 trade in on mine) to actually save money - which I don't think is possible in my lifetime, even if I get double the mileage!

Excellent idea. I'll do it now.
Edit:
Done! If anyone has info on the interior dimensions (or, indeed, any item like that that could be in the FAQ), please PM me with it, or start another thread.

I collected this information from an advertisement for a 1996 190:
From the floor to the bottom of the roof a/c is 6'
From the floor to the ceiling at the back of the RV is 6'2"
From the floor to the ceiling at the front of the RV is 6'6"
The couch is 5'9" long
The overhead bed is 6' across the width of the RV but is 6'6" lengthwise
The clearance from the foam mattress to the ceiling is 20"
The overall width of the RV is 8'4" because of the mirrors, the mirrors themselves are 12" each

Give me some time and I'll think of something to keep you busy.
