B190 Enthusiasts

I can officially now add my van to the list of 94 vans with the 460 engine that's had computer problems. Had- past tense. I sent out the computer last week for rebuild (through http://www.directauto.com/) and got it back today. Just got back from a 20 mile test drive, and it didn't cut out at all- before it would jerk every 2 minutes or so- when it was running well- sometimes a lot more often. total cost for overnight shipping there and back and the rebuild was under $250. Add that to the $2000 or so I'd spent at various dealers trying unsuccessfully to get the problem resolved.

I just wanted to thank the people on this forum- without others sharing their similar experiences, I don't think I would have ever gotten the problem worked out.

Add my '94 to the list. Very hard to diagnose and part not available. Have owned my B190 since new. Computer replaced at 127,000 mi. in July and runs fine now.
