As a former Ford 6.0L PSD owner, I would be very hesitant about buying this on that grounds alone.

Supposedly the engines used in the van was better than the one in the pickups (which is what I had), but I'd always be waiting for the shoe to drop.

Like someone in the comments on that page said:

It might be worth mentioning that the E series 6.0’s are substantially detuned from the F series motors and with no big tune, an EGR delete and regular maintenance, will run with zero issues.
