What is the cut off level on the gas tank to keep the generator from running you dry?

Still trying to start up on my new purchase. The gauge shows 1/4 tank... will not fill up until I get through with some other chores...

At about a quarter-tank or just slight less the gen will run out of fuel supply

Note to others who may be reading this thread - this only applies to the B190s with a single fuel tank (possibly 1993 and beyond? Somewhere around there). The B190s with dual fuel tanks have the generator hooked to the front tank, and it will run that tank dry if you let it.

(At least, that's how my 1991 is hooked up. It's possible yours is hooked up differently.)

Quarter Tank!

That's a good thing... not only to keep you from running out of gas, but that's where my gauge is sitting right now and the generator will not start. As soon as I can bring other projects to the point where I can go out and get tires, I can fill up and hopefully it will then start!
