Alaskan put these nice on/off disconnect switches in for his coach battery, to protect them from overcharging.
Love the idea, picked up two of them.
1 for the front auxillary battery and 1 for the soon to be installed 2nd coach battery(location tbd)

???? On the 93 there is a lot of red wire off the battery. How does one put an isolator on this?

I know I ask a lot of questions. Will reciprocate the group with some great recipes I have. Sorry I am a Chef not a Mechanic.
Not afraid to get dirty and learn though.
Thanks! :D

In addition to possible over-charging when plugged in for extended time periods......I do not leave any of my rigs sitting for extended periods of time with the batteries connected, thats another reason for battery switches

I picked up a 3 stage converter for mine - I can leave it plugged in all the time and it won't overcharge the battery. A good investment - I've had it for over two years now, and the deep cycle battery I installed at the same time (an Optima blue top) has been working perfectly.
