Re: Hubcaps replacement

I was sorely mistaken...it was after a trip and dusk when I looked at the sidewall. They are in fact 16 inch tires. I ordered a replacement hubcap this morning. Seems there are plenty of sites selling them. OEM used and replacement lookalikes. Lucky us. Thought it would be more trouble finding them....

Hubcaps replacement

Does anyone knows where to get replacement hubcaps for the 94 model? I see them at several aftermarket sites but the are 16 inch hubcaps. My wheels are 15 inch.

Re: '94 Cracked stripes!! ...ideas?

Some purists may not like this idea, but the lettering on the fiberglass top, "Airstream B190" was faded and severely cracked on my 1994. To extend the life and brighten the paint, I actually painted back the lettering using acrylic paint by hand. I found some craft paint that matched exac...

Re: Rain Gutters...

I did install the gutters on my rig just under the blue stripe..it's barely visable at this location. I installed another over the couch window on the opposite side and it helps considersbly. I've ordered another couple of yards to install above the small windows on top. Mine has weathered heat and ...

Re: Possible to rebuild carburetor?

My Genset consistently has problems with surging indicating a plugged up carb. At the moment it's inop and pulled from the camper. This problem has been a constant headache and caused more problems than anything else.. I was told it would be just as cost efficient to replace the carb rather than reb...

Re: New countertops

I tore into it this afternoon. The counter is NOT glued... thank goodness. You take the drawers out and there are screws holding the top on by way of perimeter strips stapled around the top of the cabinets. The strip runs around above the drawers, but not around the sink or the outside wall except f...

Re: Rain Gutters...

Would this have worked just as well placed just under the blue stripe, using that as a guide? I'm thinking it might prevent water streaking down the side just as well while not being quite as visable.

New countertops

Any clue how to remove and replace the countertops? Are they glued in place or held in place by undercounter fasteners?

I rec'd my kit in the mail today and installed it. Lucky for me, I only needed one end near the interior handle and will save the other fitting for future use. Installation was easy because I didn't have to remove the lock at the door's edge. It only took me 15 minutes. It was a tight fit over the r...

side and rear door handle cables

On my 94 model, the cable going from the lock to the interior handle broke preventing me from exiting the camper from the interior. When I investigated, the plastic end on the cable separated where it fits into a groove in the lock or handle mechanism. All the doors use the same set-up and this cabl...

If it is a cool day when you have your tank filled and it subsequently warms up, some propane will seep through a relief valve causing you to smell propane, This will also happen if they overfill (over 3/4 tank) and the propane doesn't have room to expand during warmer temps

I had this problem too...leaking from the filter area. I found cracks in the shroud around the screw holes and a hairline crack in the top. The shroud was only 2 years old..I had replaced it earlier for the same problem. I patched the cracks and the leaks stopped. Both shrouds were OEM from Dometic....

Everyone needs to check the metal strapping bolts holding the tank. Those bolts loosen up and the tank can slip down making the fill up even harder to do. If your tank has slipped, loosen the bolts and put a jack under the tank raising it back in place...then tighten the bolts. Check it whenever you...
