picked up a 1989 b190 , 460/c6 77,000 miles no leaks , every thing woeks but the awning (cranking mechanism and plastic leg swivel clip)
the cooling unit on the fridge is also bad other than that everything mechanical is awesome shape new tires belts hoses, thing runs perfect.
oh yeah most importantly i got it for only 100 bucks (no lie) former owners wife just wanted it out of the yard real bad(he was a member here and advised me of the site...thanks kyle

The price was certainly right...
You can certainly fix a few thing with the money you saved..
The refers are pretty easy to feed new parts into, like the control unit or in your case perhaps the thermostat unit ($65)...I've done that one.
Its just a little time consuming getting the unit out of the rig and to a bench to work on it as that can't be done with the unit installed in the camper
That or shell out about $850 for the new & improved replacement..
