On my 98 b190, the rear cargo doors will not open. A couple days ago, the right door refused to open from the outside but it could be opened from the inside by slipping your hand behind the fiberglass with the contained lavatory. Now the inside door latch will not open the rear door. Access to the inside door panel is blocked by the fiberglass and lavatory. Has anyone had this problem? Any ideas for a solution other than ripping out the lavatory and adjacent fiberglass to get to the inside rear door panel? I can't get to my house battery, spare tire, water controls, low storage area in hanging closet etc. A colossal mess.

Rear Cargo Doors Will Not open
Re: Rear Cargo Doors Will Not open
Maybe you could sacrifice the number plate holder in the rear door by cutting it open with a multi tool
Then you can reach up and pull the cord to open the door
You will probably get another plastic plate holder at the wreckers

melvan2, Thanks. That is what I ending up doing. Glad the license plate holder was plastic and not metal. Got it open now.
