What could they possibly be thinking? I paid less than 1/2 that for a 93 with 30k miles-- 2 years ago! As you say, nice clean looking rig, but at that prices, they will be sitting on it for a long time.

Hey...it even says "special internet price"....

....this is typical used RV dealer crappolla, they probably gave 5k trade-in for it.

I'd say 10k would be plenty, even in that condition for a 1989 with 88k miles

You're sure its the same rig...?

If so and it needs a tranny, which is costly just ask skater...it would need to be bought for around 6-8k if the rest of the rig checks out ok

yep same one for sure, except thats an older pic the armrest is broken now off the drivers chair. it does show the broken running board on the drivers side. It is without doubt the same one. C6 trannies are cheap, No OD on 89. >1k for a hopped up RV C6. But the van is not for us. We found a nice one already, way more money but ya get what ya pay for..

Yeah, I don't know the price on the C6, but the Jasper reman E4OD is like $2400 plus installation.

Why would the toilet smell, though? A good cleaning of the tank should solve that problem... I wonder if they tried and it didn't work or something.

Replacing the tanks on one of these would scare me. I don't know if it's even available.

Yea OD =$$$

The stink is prolly from sittin on car lots for 3 years and the tank was never really cleaned good. I am sure if it sold it would have got some maintenance. It was bad my wife and I gagged when I lifted the lid.. Very similar to 3 year old Tuna...

Those tanks can be made, might be a bit spendy but I bet not too bad. They are typicaly ABS or the like. You could concievably make your own with ABS fittings from the hardware store and a plastic welder from Harbor frieight. Yiur just building a box from plastic. I am a machinist and fabricator so it is easy for me to say!! Certainly not rocket science tho.
