The history pdf is an interesting read. Really interesting to see the evolution through the different models. Thank you for posting!

All of these links say FORBIDDEN ACCESS when I try them, are they hosted somewhere publicly, or are they lost after a previous webhost switch?

Nope, I have them. I had them in a directory that was set up to disallow access. I've corrected the issue now! Thanks for pointing it out.

Skater,

I was searching for things online and found a few better copies, colorized versions, and missing pages from the Brochures you have saved as a .pdf at: http://b190.com/manuals/B190_History_and_Flyers.pdf

I also rotated it so all files read in the correct "up" orientation... and specifically fixed the 1997 page so the photo and the text are both the same alignment.

If you'd like, please feel free to host it with your other documents, and update your link above? I will put it in my DropBox at the link below, but please host it here on the site as I'm not sure how long I can keep my DropBox link alive.

Here's the new version: B190 History and Flyers (corrected)

Has anyone here put together a "checklist" for driving, parking, and camping? Sort of an "Operation manual for the B190 Dummy"? My son wants to borrow the van for camping, and something like this would be extremley helpful for letting family and friends use my new van.
I started putting one together, but figured someone has probably already done this and refined it. 🙂 Why "reinvent the wheel"? :D

I had a packing list, but nothing beyond that. :(

I'm working on a basic operations manual for driving, parking, and camping, so I can lend her out with an easier mind and confidence that people will know how to treat her right. :-). I will share with the group once the 1st draft is finished, and ask for advice on editing.

First question that I do not find in the fridge manual; What are the best fridge settings for;
A. Driving ( I assume 120v as the engine will power?)
B. Parking for a few hours (maybe 12v as the battery can handle that without too much discharge?)
c. Longer term camping (Propane vs. 12v, any advice?)

Ok all, I've finished the "first draft" of my personal B190 user manual. Here's the link, let me know if you have any suggested edits or additions! :-D

While you're driving, there is no 120 volt power, unless you're running the generator or an inverter.

The 12 volt mode is only active while the engine is running. It would suck down your battery power quickly otherwise. (Assuming stock wiring.) But the 12 volt mode is pretty weak - even the owners manual basically says it's not very good.

For long term camping, 120 volt if you have shore power, propane otherwise.

On the road, if I had the generator on, I'd use the 120 volt mode. If not, propane, but the few times I tried it, the flame went out (it shouldn't, but I never got around to diagnosing it).

Thanks a million Skater! Maybe my fridge will work after all! I will try the propane, but that'll only work when it's level right? How level does it need to be? So, what I'm reading from you is;
Driving; 12V for minimal cooling, or generator for 120V if I really need it "cold"
Parked; Whie boondocking, propane only as the 12V will kill the batteries. Shore power if it's available in a powered site. (I have 2 house batteries in my rig, one under the hood and an AGM installed by a previous owner.)
Thanks!
