Thanks Skater. I'm sure I will need more info form all of you. I will try to contribute when I can.
Re: My 97 B190
That was my B190 and I'm sure the new owner will be a good B190 contributor. I'm glad it went to a good new owner and I'm sure he'll take good care of it. Good Luck JB, nice dealing with you. Shoot Straight :
Re: My 97 B190
Thanks Mark, I appreciate it. I am having fun playing with it already. Lol. I think it will be just the ticket for what I want it for. Hope you guys enjoy your new direction.
Re: My 97 B190
Well, new Michelins, alum. wheels, installed. Tinted all windows limo dark in the back, legal on the doors. Installed new refrigerator today. Bought new shocks and steering stabilizer. Had to settle for Monroe Magnums as Bilsteins are on back order. So many little things that I have done. Working on getting the rattles out. That is a challenge. Haha. Got electric mirrors working like they are supposed to. Exhaust pipe had slipped off next to generator, fixed that and changed oil on it. I'm making headway but have more to do. Service trans, alignment, etc. I have learned a lot and appreciate all the good info on this site.

Re: My 97 B190
Sounds like a complete update. What steering stabilizer unit did you install and how hard was it to do? Keep the posts coming!

Monroe and it is pretty straightforward. Still a lot to do but I'm getting there.
Re: My 97 B190
Well it's turning into much more than I was expecting. Doesn't it always. Haha. Problem with A/c requires replacement. Front end total rebuild. All except tie rods. Front brakes. Haven't checked rear yet. I did get a good enough price on it to still make it worth the money. No problem there. Shocks and sway bar on. Makes a huge difference in the way it drives.

Re: My 97 B190
Still beats paying $125K for a new B van. Good luck with the continued overhaul!

Re: My 97 B190
Cliff you are right. I'm not complaining because that is what I planned on. If we go somewhere for more than a couple of days we take the fifth wheel. This is just to take to my shooting events. I enjoy fixing things up.
Re: My 97 B190
Well I fianally got the van to Cummins Onan to check the raw gas smell when generator running. New Carb, plus air and gas filters. Slowly getting her done. Not much left on the list.
